This empirical study examines ChatGPT as an educational and learning tool. It investigates the opportunities chal-lenges that provides to students instruc-tors of communication, business writing, composition courses. also strives provide recommendations. After conducting 30 theory-based application-based tests, it is found has potential replacing search engines accurate relia-ble input students. For opportunities, a platform for seek an-swers questions generate ideas ap-plication-based questions. in-structors integrate technology in classrooms conduct workshops discuss evaluate generated responses. challenges, ChatGPT, if unethically used by students, may lead human unintelligence un-learning. present challenge instructors use negatively affects their ability dif-ferentiate between meticulous automaton-dependent on one hand, measure achievement outcomes, other hand. Based out-come analysis, this recommends communica-tion, (1) re-frain from making take-home as-sessments, (2) communication writing with detailed case-based scenario-based as-sessment tasks call personalized answers utilizing critical, creative, imaginative thinking incorporating lec-tures textbook material, (3) enforce submitting all assessments plagiarism detection software, espe-cially courses, (4) responses classes examples be discussed workshops. Remarkably, skillfully paraphrases regenerated way not detected similarity software. To maintain effectiveness, software providers need upgrade avoid such incidents slipping unnoticed.
